B”H — The Future Is Still Ours to Build
Today, I declare victory.
Not over an enemy. Not over a nation. Not over another human being.
But over an idea that has held humanity captive for far too long:
That conflict is inevitable. That progress must come through destruction. That tomorrow cannot be fundamentally better than yesterday.
I refuse that proposition.
The victory I celebrate today is one of purpose: the realization that the technologies we develop, the knowledge we accumulate and the creative works we produce can all be directed toward a common objective.
Peace through resonance. Progress through knowledge. Prosperity through cooperation.
This is the commitment at the heart of Lurching.
And today, it has acquired an unexpected symbol.
A plumber.
I. The Plumber Paradox
For years, my Google avatar featured an unusual photograph of me holding plumbing equipment, wearing a green military-style jacket.
It was a photograph from another chapter of my life.
Then, years later, I encountered an amusing Israeli image: a traveller at Ben Gurion Airport wearing a T-shirt proclaiming:
“RELAX, I’M AN ISRAELI PLUMBER.”
The resemblance was irresistible.
Two images, separated by time and circumstance, connected by the most unlikely profession.
A plumber.
Naturally, I had to turn the coincidence into something larger.
The result was The Plumber at the Gate of the Temple, a cyberpunk-inspired artwork combining the aesthetics of Johnny Mnemonic, Israeli identity, Black Swan PreCog and the enduring symbolism of Jerusalem.
There is humour in it.
But there is also a serious question.
What do we do when seemingly unrelated events suddenly appear connected?
Do we declare them prophetic?
Do we dismiss them?
Or do we use them as an invitation to investigate?
For me, the answer is the third.
The coincidence is not the proof. The curiosity it awakens is the beginning of the investigation.
That is the intellectual adventure behind Black Swan PreCog.
II. The Three Dimensions of a Brighter Tomorrow
Three recent artistic compositions have crystallized the vision I have been developing across my work.
The first concerns Digital Food 2.0.
Through Ajinomatrix, we are working to transform sensory information into something that can be structured, compared, analyzed and used to improve decisions.
Taste and smell are fundamental to human experience. Yet much of the information they carry remains difficult to communicate and evaluate consistently.
Our ambition is to help change that.
Not simply to make better products, but to make better-informed decisions about what people consume, how products are developed and how knowledge travels between cultures.
The second composition concerns Black Swan PreCog.
BSPG investigates the possibility of improving our understanding of emerging developments through pattern recognition, uncertainty analysis and responsible forecasting.
Its task is not to claim certainty about the future.
Its task is to investigate what can genuinely be anticipated, what remains uncertain and how to distinguish useful signals from coincidence.
The third composition is called:
Sensing a Brighter Tomorrow.
It brings the first two together.
Because technology without human purpose is incomplete.
And knowledge without responsibility is insufficient.
The ultimate question is not merely what we can invent or predict.
It is:
What can we improve for one another?
III. Jerusalem: An Aspiration Toward Peace
Jerusalem occupies a profound place in my spiritual and personal journey.
In Jewish tradition, Jerusalem is inseparable from the aspiration toward a world transformed by justice, wisdom and peace.
The Temple represents, among other things, an enduring religious longing for closeness to the Divine.
I approach that symbolism with reverence.
But the aspiration toward peace must never become an excuse to disregard the dignity, safety or religious commitments of others.
The Jerusalem I carry in my heart inspires responsibility, not domination.
It reminds me that the highest ideals demand the greatest humility.
And that a better future must be built through conduct worthy of the future we seek.
The prophet Isaiah gave humanity an extraordinary image:
“Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”— Isaiah 2:4
These words are not a report of an accomplished reality.
They are a challenge.
A standard against which humanity can measure its progress.
IV. The Plumber’s Lesson
There is something wonderfully appropriate about a plumber becoming the unlikely hero of this manifesto.
A plumber does not begin by proclaiming that the entire building has been saved.
A plumber identifies the leak.
Understands the system.
Finds the damaged connection.
Repairs what can be repaired.
And checks whether the solution actually works.
Perhaps humanity needs more of that attitude.
Less theatrical certainty.
More practical intelligence.
Less fascination with who is right.
More determination to understand what is broken.
Less celebration of conflict.
More investment in the infrastructure of peace.
If the world is leaking, perhaps the first act of courage is to pick up the tools.
The plumber becomes a metaphor for the researcher, the engineer, the artist, the teacher and the peacemaker.
Each has something to repair.
Each has something to contribute.
None can do it alone.
V. A Manifesto for Peace Through Resonance
At Lurching, I propose a simple principle:
Peace is not merely the absence of conflict. It is the presence of conditions that allow human beings to flourish.
That means access to knowledge.
It means nourishment and health.
It means cultural dignity.
It means opportunities for meaningful work.
It means the freedom to create, question, believe and cooperate.
And it means developing technologies that strengthen human judgment rather than replacing responsibility with automation.
Artificial intelligence can assist us.
Scientific research can expand our understanding.
Art can help us imagine possibilities that technical documents cannot communicate.
But no algorithm can absolve humanity of its moral obligations.
Peace remains a human responsibility.
That is why I believe in bringing together disciplines that are too often separated.
Science and creativity.
Technology and ethics.
Commerce and service.
Jewish inspiration and respect for humanity’s many traditions.
Not because these disciplines are identical.
But because their contributions can become complementary.
Resonance is not uniformity.
It is the possibility of creating something constructive together without requiring everyone to become the same.
VI. From Ambition to Evidence
I have spent years developing ideas, projects and technologies through Ajinomatrix, Namasthay, Lurch Productions and the broader Life-X constellation.
Some have reached implementation.
Others remain experimental.
Still others are artistic or philosophical explorations.
I do not wish to confuse these categories.
A scientific hypothesis must be tested.
A commercial proposition must demonstrate value.
A forecast must be evaluated against outcomes.
An artistic vision may inspire, but inspiration is not evidence.
This distinction is not a weakness.
It is how ambition becomes credible.
Black Swan PreCog must therefore earn its place through transparent methods, prospective testing and independent scrutiny.
Digital Food 2.0 must demonstrate practical benefits for those who use it.
Life-X must develop sustainable activities capable of supporting its work.
And Lurching must remain a place where imagination serves a constructive purpose.
The future deserves more than declarations.
It deserves delivery.
VII. My Declaration — 13 October 2026
Today, I choose to mark a milestone.
Not because world peace has already been achieved.
Not because a coincidence proves that tomorrow has been revealed.
And not because any institution has conferred upon me a special mandate.
I mark this day because a vision has become clearer.
The victory is choosing construction over confrontation.
Choosing evidence over assumption.
Choosing service over recognition.
Choosing cooperation over isolation.
Choosing the possibility of a brighter tomorrow over resignation to the conflicts of yesterday.
That is a victory worth celebrating.
And it is available to everyone.
No special title is required.
No extraordinary status.
No permission to hope.
Only the willingness to begin.
VIII. The Invitation
To researchers: investigate boldly, and welcome rigorous criticism.
To entrepreneurs: build things that genuinely improve lives.
To artists: help us imagine a future worth creating.
To spiritual leaders: keep dignity, compassion and responsibility at the centre of our aspirations.
To governments and institutions: invest in prevention, cooperation and the responsible assessment of emerging technologies.
And to everyone else:
Do not underestimate the importance of a small, practical contribution.
A repaired connection.
A shared meal.
A conversation across differences.
A useful invention.
A piece of music.
A decision not to perpetuate hostility.
History is shaped by great events.
But it is also shaped by ordinary people who refuse to surrender their capacity to improve the world.
🦢 THE FUTURE IS NOT A TROPHY. IT IS A RESPONSIBILITY.
The plumber stands at the gate.
Behind him lies the world of systems, signals and uncertainties.
Before him lies Jerusalem, symbol of an ancient longing for peace.
In his hands are not weapons, but tools.
And perhaps that is the most important image of all.
We cannot promise to prevent every conflict.
We cannot know everything the future holds.
But we can investigate, prepare, cooperate and work to reduce suffering.
We can make better decisions.
We can nourish lives.
We can connect cultures.
We can build institutions worthy of our aspirations.
And we can refuse to believe that humanity has exhausted its possibilities.
The future remains open.
Peace remains worth pursuing.
And tomorrow remains ours to build.
Am Yisrael Chai. May all peoples live in peace.
